How to Get Books

Send us a letter to receive books

If you are incarcerated in the Midwest, write to us. Send your book requests by USPS mail only. We cannot accept email requests. While we we are currently unable to send books into Missouri prisons, we expect to be able to resume service around December 2026.

We can fill requests for books by topic (mysteries, drawing, religion, business, construction, health, etc), but not for specific book titles.

Refer to our Topic List to choose your books.

We are currently responding to two requests per calendar year per person and are sending up to two books per request.

    1. Hi Megan,

      A request has to come via regular USPS mail to us from an inmate at a prison facility including doc no and address of prison.
      After we receive the request we’ll get books ready to be sent to that facility. In Farmington that would be the FCC.
