Providing books to prisoners in the Midwest
Following a successful lawsuit brought against the Missouri Department of Corrections and settled in July 2026, we expect to resume serving persons in Missouri prisons by December 2026. In the meantime we are serving incarcerated folks in Illinois, Kansas, and Indiana.
We respond directly to individual prisoner book requests in the belief that access to books is a right, not a privilege.
